With our house off the market, we can finally get a little more of the kid-friendliness of our house back. The boys are so good at picking up their toys upstairs (since they actually have a place to go), we knew we needed a home for their downstairs toys as well. So this weekend we went out and got another storage cube for the living room. While the boys were in bed last night, we rearranged the room and found a great place for it.
The boys were a little confused by the new set up, but they loved the easy access to all their books and that each toy has a place of it's own.
However, it didn't take very long for poor Jaxson to trip on a book and meet the new cube face to face (literally!)
He cried a little bit and laid in his daddy's arms (which is an excellent choice if you ask me...there are special comforting & healing powers in those arms). About 30 minutes later he was back in action, running, climbing and playing :)
Other than that, we just had a relaxing, restful weekend. We enjoyed our time together, cheered on our Cowboys and devoured our favorite spinach dip. All in all, it was a great weekend!
And...know what makes it better?
We get to do it all again in just 4 days!
