So, it's been a while since my last real post...like March!!
This year is moving so quickly, I can hardy stand it.
The boys birthday was super low-key. We invited their buddies Claire & Rachel (along with mom, dad & little sister Zoe) over for dinner. We had planned to just have a relaxing day together until we got a call for a showing just as Seth was bringing the boys down to see their gifts. It ruined the entire day and I cried about it :( You see, we had met with our Realtor's the week before and been advised to make a price reduction since we had so few showings in the weeks prior. We specifically decided to wait until after their birthday so that we could just stay home and enjoy the day. Unfortunately, the call at 9am meant that we had to rush through breakfast, clean the house and take down birthday decorations and head out for an unplanned meal. I lost it when I got the phone call as we were eating that they were not going to make it for the showing. Anyway, they ended up coming after nap and it turned out to be a big waste of time.
The very next day, we dropped the price and within a week had 2 offers. The first was a low ball, that we countered with no response (well, we got a response, but not until we had already accepted another) and the 2nd was a good offer but with a quick move out. We signed paperwork and started packing and looking for a new place to live.
After a weekend of looking at rentals in our price range, we were disappointed. We prayed that God would prepare a place for us that would work well space wise and budget wise. Guess what...He did!! We found a great little rental, not too far from where we really wanted to live, that is within our budget allowance. We signed a 1 year lease and made a mad dash out of the old place.
We have been in the new place for about 2 weeks and the boys have adjusted beautifully! They love having access to all their toys again!! We sold lots of stuff on craigslist and were able to find a back yard swing set for them there. It has been crazy busy, with long nights of weeding through all of our stuff and either finding it a spot in the new place or adding it the the very large pile of stuff to sell.
God has been so good to us and this entire process is molding and shaping us in more ways than you can imagine. I am going to try to post some entries on these things in particular in the future.

Wow! Awesome, the ways that God works.
P.S. I would totally have lost it too. Showings are so incredibly stressful when you are still trying to live YOUR life.
