Grandma & Grandpa!

Grandma & Grandpa came to visit over the Memorial Day weekend holiday. There were here Sunday to Thursday and we had tons of fun! As always, they spoiled the boys like crazy. They showed up with a bunch of new hats which were a HUGE hit. The boys love hats right now and will point out & sign it when they see anyone with one on.

They also have a huge love for dogs and while my mom & I were out, she couldn't pass up some new stuffed puppies. While they were here, they got the boys a great little table and chairs, a new ball pit and some magnetic boards and magnets. The boys have just discovered the wonder of magnets, so it was a huge hit!

We also got to take the boys to Kiddie Acres one day. It is a little ghetto and they were a little too young, but we had a great time. We got to ride a merry-go-round and a train and the boys got to pet their first horse. Turner was so excited by the horse that we got the lady that worked there to try and let him ride it. He got on and then decided he had had enough. I think if I could have gone with him, he would have loved it. It was a great little afternoon activity and the boys loved being able to experience new things and walk around.

Maybe the best part of Grandma & Grandpa being here was that they stayed close by in a hotel with a pool. I grew up with a pool and have wanted to get the boys in the water for a long time. It worked out so well as there was never really anyone there. We went 2 different times and the boys had a blast! Turner loved to lounge and be pushed around in the floaty, while Jax just loved being held and bouncing in the water. I hope we can get to a pool again soon!

Thanks for all the wonderful new toys & clothes and thanks for spoiling Mom & Dad too. We can't wait to see you guys again soon!
