Turner is a happy baby most of the time. He loves to laugh and smile. However, when he is not happy, he is VERY unhappy! He is getting close to crawling...actually starting to get his legs up under his booty. His bottom teeth are working on making an appearance any day now and we can't wait...teething has been rough on our little guy. He makes lots of funny noises and letter sounds (including ma-ma on occasion) and you can almost always find him with his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Jaxson Marcus
Nickname: Big Man or Jax
Weight: 17 lbs 11 oz (50 percentile)
Height: 27 1/2" (75-90 percentile)
Teeth: 2
Favorite TV Show: Sports Center
Jaxson is such a big man. He just can't wait to be grown up. We can almost see it in his face, like he just wants to be able to go run and jump. He has two teeth that seemed to pop up out of nowhere and he can't wait to use them (he now makes the chewing motion all the time). He had his first cold this weekend and weathered it well (saline nose spray and all). He loves to 'talk' and has said da-dee a few times which makes Seth grin from ear to ear. He loves eating the 'big boy' food and would ditch the bottle if we would let him. He loves bath time and uses his hands to grab at anything and everything in sight.

Both the boys have a new love for screaming...not just little screaming, but high pitched top of their lungs screaming. They will sometimes even have little battles where they each take turns to see who can be the loudest (this usually happens in very convenient places like the car, store or church). They are eating all sorts of pureed foods now...their menu includes a rotation of: rice cereal, barley cereal, oatmeal cereal, mixed cereal, sweet potato, carrots, butternut squash, yellow squash, zucchini, green beans, avocado, apples, bananas & pears with new foods being introduced every 3-4 days.
As for mom and dad, they are in need of prayer. Daddy's business is headed into the slow time of year and he is looking for a second job to bring in some extra money. He has one offer right now, but when we weigh the pros and the cons, the only real pro is that it is the only offer. Please pray with us as we ask God to lead and direct us in what He wants for our family. It sure would be nice if we could be independently wealthy and have our daddy just get to play with us all day. Other than that, all is well here in Texas. The weather is finally cooling down some & we are getting outside almost daily!
