We have had the hottest summer in over 83 years here in central Texas. Today happened to be the first day since the beginning of May that we are below 90 degrees with no rain. To celebrate, the boys and I took a walk!
The boys got to spend some time outside and we got to walk around the neighborhood like we did when they were only a few weeks old. We felt the breeze on our faces, the sun on our skin and got to see all the beauty of God's creation that is around us. We are thankful for a rest from the heat and so happy to be able to go outside again.
Hopefully the cooler weather will last for a while and we won't get too hot or too cold too soon. Thank you Jesus for a beautiful Texas day!

Oh my goodness, who bought those sunglasses? They are way cute! I bet they will love getting to play outside more this fall. How fun!
I got them on clearance on-line. I am amazed at how much they love them. They are sad when we take them off :)
