If there is one thing I can't get enough of, it's my husband! I love having him home and, of course, the boys do as well. We love having him home for so many reasons beyond all he does to help...we just really like the guy and we wish he could be home all the time.
This weekend was WONDERFUL! It's not very often that we get a 3 day weekend to just be us. Holidays are a great time for other people to travel and come see us, so usually we have a full house for a 3 day-er. While that is great, having extra time to just relax and enjoy our family is priceless.
We did a lot of nothing over the weekend. Apart from almost having the car towed on Friday (we ended up being able to get away with just jumping the battery), it was a rather uneventful few days. We played in the back yard a bit, ate some very yummy food (apparently the boys could live off of spinach dip & guacamole alone), watched a few movies and really just enjoyed being together.
