Today for lunch we had quesadillas, home made tortilla chips and everyone's favorite tableside guacamole. I am always amazed at how much these boys LOVE guacamole. Jaxson wanted nothing to do with his quesadilla unless it was the vehicle by which he got the guac to his mouth. Eventually, we just decided to let him eat it with a spoon.
Then, for dinner we decided to do 'happy hour,' a sampling of various appetizer type foods. This included an old favorite, spinach dip and the boys could not get enough. Once we realized that we couldn't keep up with their requests for 'more,' we decided to give them their own bowls for dipping. They eventually ended up with spoons again and the two of them finished off more than half of the party sized bowl.
Apparently today's meals get the toddler ranking of 2 thumbs up!
