Just a few weeks ago our sweet niece, Ella, turned 5 years old. I can not believe it! It seems like just yesterday we were driving to the hospital prepared for a long haul of waiting for her arrival. We were shocked, to say the least, when we exited the elevator to see her proud Grandpa and learn that she had already made her grand entrance...in record time!
She has been a feisty thing ever since and we love her to pieces. The hardest thing about moving so far away was leaving her (and her awesome little brother) behind. Not a day goes by that we are not sad to be missing all the big smiles and shakey hugs from some of our very favorite little people.
This weeks photo is a look back at Ella turning 1...4 whole years ago! Her first birthday was so much fun and we were so sad to miss the big #5 celebration. Ella, we love you more than you'll ever know!
