It has been a crazy few days here at the Habben house! It started on Thanksgiving Day with the arrival of Grandma, Grandpa & Auntie Andrea (Vanessa's family). They got here Thanksgiving night and we feasted on some yummy Cracker Barrel. I would have loved to cook, but 2 babies leaves little hands.
Friday, the girls all headed out to do some shopping, leaving Daddy, Grandpa & the boys home to have some man-time :) We found some great deals, spent too much money and were all ready to have our Christmas celebration on Saturday. One of Grandma's purchases even included the gift of a new dining table...no more card table with folding chairs! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Saturday morning, we decorated our poor tree ($19 from Walgreen's...thanks Grandma & Grandpa). OK...actually Seth did it all on his own and he was able to make it look great, much to our surprise...he really is amazing! Once the boys got up from their nap, it was present time!
Of course, Grandma & Grandpa spoiled the boys like crazy! They were so cute and seem to really have the unwrapping (ie. destroying) thing down. They loved all their new goodies and had a great time playing.
Saturday night, Seth and I even got to go on a date. We made a stop at Home Depot (awesome date activity!) and then went to The Melting Pot for some chocolate fondue...one of our favorites. It was our first date since the boys we're born and it was so nice!
Then, on Sunday, we packed up our giant SUV (the amount of stuff you need for 2 babies is insane) and headed south to San Antonio. We walked around the river walk, ate some great food and had a pretty enjoyable day. The boys refused to nap which made for an interesting evening, but overall it was great to be out and about somewhere new.
Monday the boys and I had a nice quiet day. Daddy was back at work (boo!) and the family stayed in San Antonio to do some more sight seeing. The boys finally had some good naps and a good nights sleep (Thankfully!). Today, Grandma, Grandpa & Auntie made the drive back to our house and we celebrated Grandpa's birthday at Chuys...yummy!
They all head back to California tomorrow morning. It was great having them here and getting to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and a birthday!

Sounds like you guys had a great time! Those pictures of the boys opening their presents are priceless!
How sweet! It's so nice to spend quality time with family... especially when they live so far away. It looks like you had a wonderful time.
It doesn't look like craziness at all. You look like you had a great time, and the boys definitely did. What a great way to start their first big holiday season. (What do there onsies say?) It's neat that you were able to celebrate all (3 events) with family.
The onsies say 'Who needs (Santa) when I have Grandma!'
